would a foreign customer prefer to pay a personal account?
Post 1 of 13

we are a company without getting exportation right and we don't have a usd bank acount.we understand that an account in china bank could collect usd payment ,but the total payment should not exceed 50,000 dollars per year.Does it mean that we can open several accounts in China bank so that we don't have to entrust imp&exp company to collect oversea payment for us?is that feasible?

and also i wonder if the foreign customers agree to pay to a personal acount?any reply will be highly appreciated.

Normally transferring payment to personal accounts by companies is a red flag (also illegal in most countries). So you should not expect much trust if you demand such payment. However if you have a good relationship with your buyer and you both agree on that you can do it if there is no other way.

If they trust you, they will send you by their personal account, it's not easy to win the trust for the first time i think, however, many sohos do it very well too

i have the same problem.

If we use our company  USD account , bank service fee is USD35 per time , too high to afford it , even for samples.

But if we use personal account .buyers will sespect  .

And i have made several mistakes about this !!!

not convenient at the big qty orders ,and you can't transfer usd within your china bank inside china, that is the national rules ,so how you deal with the tax issue ,only sample order suggested use personal account

I don't think this is feasible.
Foreign customers do not like to pay to a personal account, and it is also considered as a scam in this way.

Foreigers don't like personal A/C, what is more, it is hard for them to learn how to send money to bank in China. And the commission fee also very high to make such payment.

1. Last year I use my personal account to receive payment more than 30k usd
2. At first , this is based on you client trust you
3. But sometimes, some countries they can not pay money to personal account via his company account
4. At this moment we only use our personal account to receive the samples payment
5. For the buck order we get payment through import export company.
