i am a novice in foreign trade,and if every order should be paid dilivery fee and sample,i am afraid that i can't keep it on for a long time[em23]

i have send too many samples to nigeria  one company is there ladies venture in lagos,  3 times i had samples with thousands of rupess in courier charges, still he ask for samples to send that to free and if charges are asked he says first send samples after that he will pay, unless and until first samples he had not paid how can he pay second, so i didnt send him samples, but my samples and courier all gone in waste, from then onwards i ask buyers to pay for samples but thy dont reply only.[em12]

I think it's depends on the situation.
If your buyer is a huge company with hundred of other suppliers offering them products with the same function as yours, they will not pay for any sampling fees nor freight charges. What if they paid and they found your product is not as effective as those sent in by other supplier and after lots of comparison and evaluation and finally they decided to take up other supplier's product which is better then yours, then how are they going to get back the samples fees or freight charges? what if hundred of those suppliers asking them to pay for sampling fees and only 1 product is effective? I don't think a big company will pay for any kind of fees for samples before they are sure that the product is good. Well, I can't say the same if a small company asking samples from you FOC. Most probably that would be a scammer..

Well, my factory produce sports wear, normally the cost is not cheap, so we could not offer free sample or freight, but customers can understand.[em1]
