Alcoholic beverages import from Mexico is a non trivial matter that I haven't been able to decipher. I am a rum manufacturer that posted my product but when I was ready to send some samples I could not send them by UPS, DHL, or any courrier. Nobody would take my samples, much less a whole cargo.
There I learned that I needed export import license but also, special packaging, and special fumigation and cannot be sent directly to my client but to someone that has a license, etc.
Can someone pleeease help with baby steps: what do I need to do first and then second, because what is the use of the web if I can´t contact my clients with my product?
Nevertheless I see many that do it, so there must be a how... that's why I am here asking the knowledgeable for help that I will value very much. Thank you sincerely.
