I would like to change my member id/user id. But I am unable to do it. How is it possible? Any suggestions?

Please note that your Member ID was automatically generated by our system and can’t be changed. If you think that the Member ID is difficult to remember when logging in, we suggest that you use your registered email address to sign in to your account at .
If you are referring to your premium mini-site address on Alibaba: , please be advised that you only have one chance to change it. To change your website address, please take the following steps:
1) Sign into My Alibaba
2) Click "Change My Website Address" in the "Account Settings" section
3) Type in your special mini-site name and check whether it is available
4) Confirm when done
Important: Your mini-site address can only be changed once. If the desired ID has been registered already, you will fail in make this change. Therefore, please change to the ID that has not been registered

Thank you for the reply. We got your reply mail for the same question before.
The problem doesnt lie in remembering the Member Id.
The problem is the person who created this Id doesnt work for the company anymore and I want it changed to a common name.
Me being the current sales contact for the company, everytime when i send a mail or reply to my customer from Alibaba, it goes in the previous person's name and not my name.
So i am unable to add my name at the end of the mail.
Doing such things makes me feel like an impostor. Alibaba should take due effects to this and allow to change the Member Id.

Thank you for clarifying your concern. Actually, this has nothing to do with the Member ID.
All you have to do is to change the Contact Person. However, please be advised that contact person name was verified by a third party when your company registered as a TrustPass member. This name was confirmed with your company before the activation of your TrustPass account. Therefore, it cannot be changed at random. If you want to change to a different contact person name, it will need to be verified a second time at the cost of $40 USD.
