there are many reasons.

1, the salesman do not work hard enough.

2, he is too tired at canton fair, and more actually, the several persons share one mobile computer at canton fair.

3, he meet many cutomers at canton fair, more real and genuine than you.

4, they are trading company, not factory, they just put other factory's product on their website, so he can not reply you very prompt, as he must get answers from the factory.

5, to show they are big and powerful, they have many customer, and they do not lack customer.

I suggest, if you're really interested in their products, one month later contact him again, because when he is back from canton fair, he will be busy for at least one month conacting those customers he met with at canton fair.

Why shouldn't be treat each other in a polite manner? I can completely understand your situation. The seller didn't pay a bit attention to you. I went to Shaxi, Panyu, Guangzhou City last week and wanted to buy something, but the seller looked at me and unpolitely drove me away. I was confused, not know what was going on. Simply because they thought I was too young and not the really buyer? What was wrong with my face? But no need to complain here. I think that is why some buyers prefer to do business with trade company but not manufacturer, because they need good service as well, not just good quality and low price. We should treat others in a polite manner, even when he is not going to buy something. Everybody wants to be treated in a good manner, just like the way you want others to treat you.

I am always concentrate on my potential customers whatever s/he will purchase or not, I would try my best to serve her/him in positive attitude.

I think there is a better way for this.

For the factory, they should have at least standby 1 person at the office to handle customer enquiries through phone or e-mail.

The Trade fair might be important for branding and expose but an opportunity that have came to your doorstep should be grap and follow up and not just reply with busy with trade fair.

Can I put it this way: YOU NEED ME OR I NEED YOU?
