have a lot of demandjadedev wrote:Been an interesting week, most sellers are bust at the canton fair and nobody would reply my emails and if they reply, they said tehir are too busy at canton fair.
Which makes me wonder, who is more important?
a, a customer who comes to you and wants to buy your product
b, a customer who is at the fair and comparing prices from 300 sellers.
As one as I am concerned, I suppose both are important.
First, as a supplier, we get chance to take part in canton fair twice a year, we cherish this kind of opportunity, not only to show our products, but also try to set up a brand in canton fair. Those customers who is at the fair and comparing price from 300 sellers, in my opinion, If i were them, maybe i will did as they have done to choose the best one.Maybe those visitors will not buy our products at once, but they will be our potential customers.I do believe if we can supply the high qulity goods at the competitive price, we can do business sooner or later.
Second, to our company, trading on line never end. the time we enter in the canton fair, we also have professinal person who serve our clients on line, give them the prompt reply. because we know not all the buyers have time to come to the fair.
In these two sides, we do our best to balance both.

Yes ,a bird in hand is more valuable than two in the bush,I quite feel the same way.
I used to work in a blow moulding machine factory which exported many machines to oversease clients, our boss was excellent both in business and technology,he could deal with any technical problems and convice the customer to place order, yes ,by this way ,we won many customers oversease.but the problem is that we didn't have a good quality control over the machines exported because the workshop was in lack of good management and it didn't get high attention from the boss, the machine didn't work well in customers'plant, and they lodged complaints to us,thus we spent a great deal of time dealing with the tough matter.
Still, something could not be made up ,we lost costomers'reliability and orders were getting less and less.
In this case ,I think we didn't really walue the current customers and take good care of them ,and we got into a downtime in business.
according to me 'b' is right
a costemer like 'b' will become a good publicity for ur product
people will surely agree the words of 'b'. but they dont give more importence 2 'a'
and if a person like 'b 'is convienced with ur product ur product is a really admirable
