Who is more important?
Post 12 of 67
[em11] i think both important, due to  the customer face to face need to chat with him at once. but if there is a old customer need to place order ergently, need to deal with old customer first.[em18]

In fact , we are as staffs, we cant help doing that.Beacuse the fair is really important and good chance to find new customers for us.And the boss spend so much money and effors in the fair,we have no reason not to try our best.
When we stand by the booth in whole day and not stop chating with the customers. At the same time, the old customers need we send the sample to them.I am really busy,no time and tired to do that. But i also dont want to make old customer disappointed.
Who can tell me how should i do?

Hey Mike

It's really easy, just do what we do.

a. wake up, drink lots of coffee, go to trade show

b. talk to visitors for 10 hours.

c. Fair finish for the day, take potential customers for a meal, talk business

d. 10pm, go back to hotel.  if you have a female collegue, then you know what to do, ha, only kidding.

e. 10:15pm, shower

f. 10:30, start getting quotes ready for trade fair customers.

g. 2pm. all quotes done.

h. start checking emails from your existing customers and potential customers from Alibaba

i. 4am, go to sleep.

j. 8am, get up and start all over again.

It's not rocket science, dude.

Been an interesting week, most sellers are bust at the canton fair and nobody would reply my emails and if they reply, they said tehir are too busy at canton fair.

Which makes me wonder, who is more important?

a, a customer who comes to you and wants to buy your product

b, a customer who is at the fair and comparing prices from 300 sellers.

[em12] you are a superman..

I think most of Chinese sales who eating rice can not up too late and take few sleep, and then  need to wake up and standing on the fair and keep passion for more then 8 hours. that's terrible..

I think if you are a customer, you need to understand what the sales doing there. but if you have urgent deal, you have to tell him how important it is..

This has got to be the worst excuse I've ever heard.  Then eat more rice and work harder.

Hi Sir,

Sorry for my last rude posted..

But what I mean was if you are the sales who had standed more then 8 hours, there may many sales just took more then 10 hours bus, and just arrive the fair.. and keep their face smile more then 8 hours, and talk with more 100 customers in whole day.. you will being very tire, we are not lazy sale, but the situation is different, hope you can more understand the how difficule situation when a sales attending the canton fair..

Best regards

Steven

If you are my supplier, I take my business else where.
