Best price or lowest price
Post 1 of 45

usually the best price is not the lowest price……In business everyony want get the lowest price from his supplier ,at the same time they also wish the best quality, sometimes is possble.I usually tell our clients this is the best price base on the high quality.someone understand this and know the cost of the products control the price.after compare with all the quotations they believe what i said,so we provide our best goods to them.against that is some of the clients don't think so,they think the price is not good, want to find the lower price ,after many inquires and reply they get the lowest price and ask can we give the lowest price .unluckily the price is much lower than the cost.why that happen.some factory want get the deal so quote the low price as his clients wish ,this price they can't produce according to the require .when they produce  they will change something ,after the deal, recived the goods will find the quality is not good. bargain is necessary ,leave some space, get a long-term business relationship is better than get the lowest price.we will do so and believe after the bad deal u will come back to me.I won't do business for only once.we looking for the clients who want get the high quality products and share the profits.that what we think and what we are doing all the time.

In my opinoin, there is no best price or lowest price, what our businessman need to know is the normal price in the market, and the things we can afford behind the products like the after service, reliable quality and delivey time ,etc. and the most important and hardest thing is that we should let the customer to know it too. if the normal price of the chicken is $5, you can get it from some guy in $1 which is even less than its cost, what do you think the "chicken" is made of ?

At teh same time, it's no use you quoting me a chicken for more than $5 because I can't sell at that price.

i am suppiler in China mainland, our products have a most competitive price in watch line ,but as the host said ,they are not the lowest just because of the good quality. However that kind of thing often happen, the buyer want to find some product very cheap no matter how bad quality the products are ,i did cann't understand. so i do agree with the host's opinion.

The reason a buyer wants the price lower is so that he can compete in his country.   If you give him a price that he can't sell in his country, then he will have to look to lower the price

yes,i meet same problem with you.especially in our line, the customer can not differentiate material is same as contract or not.so i think some factory use another material to do,so that the price will be down much than ours,it is very pity these factory.

The price is finally based on the target customer.

Take the chicken for example.  In China, the home chicken is the double price of the feed chicken.  But some customers would like to pay 10$ instead of 5$ because of the different nutrition value.

But my target market is $5 chicken. So no point for the seller offering me $10 chicken, I don't have buyers.

Why can't sellers give me what I need?
