usually the best price is not the lowest price……In business everyony want get the lowest price from his supplier ,at the same time they also wish the best quality, sometimes is possble.I usually tell our clients this is the best price base on the high quality.someone understand this and know the cost of the products control the price.after compare with all the quotations they believe what i said,so we provide our best goods to them.against that is some of the clients don't think so,they think the price is not good, want to find the lower price ,after many inquires and reply they get the lowest price and ask can we give the lowest price .unluckily the price is much lower than the cost.why that happen.some factory want get the deal so quote the low price as his clients wish ,this price they can't produce according to the require .when they produce they will change something ,after the deal, recived the goods will find the quality is not good. bargain is necessary ,leave some space, get a long-term business relationship is better than get the lowest price.we will do so and believe after the bad deal u will come back to me.I won't do business for only once.we looking for the clients who want get the high quality products and share the profits.that what we think and what we are doing all the time.

If a chicken is $5 in my market, it's no use if supplier quotes me $10 even if that s the lowest price they can do. No matter how good the quality, for some homogeneous products, quality becomes not as important. Sure it still plays a part but customer focus less on it.
yes, the market if just like u said, here the low price is 10,and u market is 5,why still want to import the goods ,that's no need, what i said the best price is base on the cost of the goods can the price can give.it's competitive price. are not groundless.maybe the sometimes the big difference in the price would happen, but an unusual occurrence.
as importers, we have to seek a competitive advantage. if my competitors can import from china for less than $5, then why am I getting quotes for 10? Somebody is obviously upping the price seeing I am not a local buyer.
have a lot of demandjadedev wrote:u are right,u can ask 10 companies for price ,or less than 10 ,u will find the essential price, couse most of the price will at the same line.only one or two much high or low than the price line.the higher one just like u said is the $10,and the low one maybe $2 or $3. so then what will u do.do the business with the $2 ? i think It is a risky undertaking.as importers, we have to seek a competitive advantage. if my competitors can import from china for less than $5, then why am I getting quotes for 10? Somebody is obviously upping the price seeing I am not a local buyer.
have to be extra careful with the really low ones. This is where inspection agent will go there and talk to the company etc etc Soemtimes no choice but to work with them because they ahve good price.
Will talk to the middle ones and see if we can get it down below $5.
The higher quotes will get dropped straight way.
Your opinion sounds good. I am supplier and what I need to do is know more about our clients need.
