Hi, I just would like to advise everyone out there on my recent trip to China.

It was my first time I have been out of my country (SOUTH AFRICA) and to top it all, it was to China. I did extensive research before ging there and found out about Jasmine(agent) through Alibaba.

My partner and I spent 5 days in China and we had sent countless emails between ourselves and Jasmine before landing in China. We also made arrangements with the suppliers beforehand so that we had our itenarary planned when we got to China.

Again, when we arrived in Hong Kong, Jasmine expalined to us all the ins and outs of where to go and what train to take to Shenzhen. It was a breeze and we had no problems with getting to Shenzhen. Even the customs was no problem. We were in and out of customs in less than 15 minutes. I have heard many horror stories of people standing for hours on end, etc. but the train route was a pleasure to take.

Jasmine met us in Shenzhen train station and we took a train to our hotel. During the next few days she visited our suppliers and gave us valuable information on how the Chinese do business and helped out tremendously with interpretation as well from Chinese to English.

We felt at home in China with her and she took us for a guided tour at LoHu shopping centre which we thoroughly enjoyed.

At the business front she knew her work and is very knowledgable with shipping and customs.

After arriving back in South Africa we made contact with her and sent her and the supplier our requirements. We then sent all the money to Jasmine to keep via a western union transfer. She is very honest and kept her work with payments to the suppliers and shipping companies. She is also very effecient and quick to advise on the best way to ship your goods and her inspections are good as she follows your exact requests.

She later emailed us photos on our products before they left China and did a quality check before they were shipped out from the factory.

Jasmine is essence is very helpful, reliable and honest. Our goods arrived in excellent condition and within 3 weeks from departure.

I am pleased to recommend Jasmine to anyone seeking to import products fro China and strongly advise you to use her. I did and that s the best decesion I have ever made.

Jasmines fees are also very reasonable and you definitely will get your money's worth.

We will continue to use Jasmine for many reasons such as: her knowledge of local customs and language; she treats her customers with respect; her advice regarding freight options (got a better deal with Jasmine paying from her end).

 You simply cannot lose with Jasmine. She will only pay the supplier once you are happy with her recommendation. Anyway, we’re delighted with Jasmines performance & whatever we’ve spent on her fees was worth every cent.

I am getting old and didn't see this post. Jasmine/ Justin and Elec are all good agents to work with. They will tell you if the product you are looking for is outside their knowledge (electronics get tricky!)..... All trustworthy agents, but make sure you LISTEN to them and that you are both on the same page about what you want them to do for you.

Yes, you can find out too many good agents and third-party biz service companies like Jasimine in China.

In my opinions: Safety, quality, price and service play the same role in international business worldwide. www.myspace.cn/chinastin is a blog, where you can find out many scammer information and agents in China as well.

I am also South African, nice to know there are more of us on Alibaba and thank you for sharing your very positive Chinese experience, people like Jasmine gives the whole business a better reputation and we need to hear about the good guys/girls, we mostly just here about the bad people....

Sounds great, I am working as individual sourcing agent too, although I don't have many clients, but I almost work for them by month salary, it is so important that trust between each other, surely, sometime some clients just need to accompanying them to visit factory for big deal, and need my assistant on the business desk.

In March, I met a customer from USA and he just want to me assist him on her business trip, the first day we have a tour viewing of temple in Shenzhen, from the second day we start the work with suppliers, after serveral days, we fly to Ningbo to visit other suppliers. You can not imaging that he spend 7 days in China but without a mobile phone, even when we fly to Ningbo and we can meet without any delay. After we finished the work, He gave me an bottle of XO and chocolate which he brought from USA as a gift, and I return by many kinds of China Tea and tea pot for his family members. He choose me just a simple reading about my story through alibaba, send me an email, and I gave a price for my service, what a easy thing that he was so trust with me at the beginning, I don't think my price is lower than others. It is a nice thing to have such a good customer.

At the end of last month, a new customer who is looking for a sourcing agent, and it was the Conton Fair period, as I know it was a big traffic problem at this time in Guangzhou, we had a meeting in the restaurant, because traffic busy it takes me almost more than 3 hours to reach, spend me about RMB 200, when I was there, I found it was just an interview, when I was talking with him, another agent is coming, that is like people standing in a line a looking for a job. I do hate this kind of clients. they never consider about inconvenience of other people. I gone there was because we talked on the phone that he had the samples on hand and want to transfer to work to me.

Hi,elpack. I understood your feeling well.

 

But I would like to explain: we know, every buyer can has many choices.

 

When they sent inquiry to a supplier, they will also ask another supplier in the meanwhile. Right?

 

Same to us, I get service inquiry almost every day from the foreign buyers, but I know they would also contact other agents.

 

I knew that, but I still have to reply back and try to win their trust with my services. Although I will work in vain.

 

This is a competing world, we can't say the buyers are not sincere, they want to compare only. Like we were shopping, we want to compare the price, quality from different stores.

 

I heard some funny stories from the manufactories sometimes. When a buyer comes, they ask many manufactories to meet him in somewhere. Many manufactories were waiting in line to wait for his meeting. The buyer would choose one or two among them or would choose no one. Most of them will waste time only. But they have to try to grab every chance of cooperation.right?

 

My bad experinces was, i used to trust others easily. And I came to meet some buyers  with heart from far away, and took them to visit the factories and took them for signseeing, I paid my accomdation, tickets, i spent my times, efforts, but they didn't pay me  back with one cents. They hurted me!

Even though, I still try to meet the buyers when the buyers come to and would like to have a meeting with me.

 

I ALWAYS believe NO COOPERATIONS/ NO WORKS IF YOU DON'T MEET/DON'T COMMUNICATION. ALOUGHT IT MAYBE STILL NO RESULT AFTER MEETING AND ONLY SPEND TIMES, EFFORTS AND MONEY.

Yes, sometimes we have no choice if we travel together with clients, we have to pay for all cost when traveling such like taxi fee, meal fee, etc. but we only get paid after the work is finished, in fact, we are suffering a risk too, if the clients finally go and without paying to us. I also have another story that, one of my clients spend many days with me, but I know his wallet have many RMB currency inside, but he never pay and always need me to pay for the daily things, somethings I almost used out all the money from my wallet and ask he" do you have RMB currency?" so, you can imaging what a funny and Embarrassing thing.
