EXPORT REGULATIONS OUT OF TOUCH WITH REALITY
Post 1 of 9
Here is an example of what I mean. S.A is a big exporter of fresh fruit (amongst others), there are very strict regulations regarding what you are allowed to export. I am not 100% sure but I assume these regulation are set by the import country. The fruit has to be a minimum size, no blemished whatsoever, etc. etc.. How exactly do you get fruit to look like this: you spray it with any and every possible poison you can get your hand on.
On the other hand the demands are for products that are more organic, but there is just no way you are going to farm organic and be able to export, your produce will just not fit the export criteria, yet the Export demand is for organic. What to do, what to do........
Now we have ex importers from European countries buying farms in Southern Africa, producing their own products and then “exporting” it to themselves.

As I'm not into produce I'm not sure about the specifics, but there is something fishy going on. For example, the seeds of almond and peach trees (in reality the same) cannot be contaminated with salmonella. The bacteria just cannot travel from the ground through the plant to the fruit.
Nevertheless, as a consequence of the infamous "codex alimentarius" (by now mandatory in over 180 countries), they have to irradited with X-rays - supposedly to kill any samonella bacteria. Unfortunately, and as a consequence of the irradiation, many nutrients change their chemical composition and are then for all pratical purposes useless for our nutrition.
Question is, why would any agricultural or health care adminstration demand such nonsense? Obviously, something is quite wrong here, and it would be good for mankind to find out what and why. After all, it has become an international affair through the "codex alimentarius".

You are right, exploitation is part of the problem. And ensuring our "captivity" is another part, together with that irridiation and more I mentioned before, as well as the money supply that "mysteriously" disppared from the banks.
We are in for "interesting times", as a Chinese proverb would call it.

We are in for "interesting times", as a Chinese proverb would call it.
When the ancient civilizations were gazing at the skies for answers, they were busy writing on cave walls. Today things have changed, Simplicity was met with duplicity..
In the name of qualtiy barrier are put so that third world countries cannot export into American and European Markets. I spent a fair amount of my time in different parts of the Globe and found it strange that while i paid 1/4th of a cent for a simple headache remedy in India I had to pay 25 cents for the same elsewhere. The Indian pill did not kill me or the lakhs of Indians who consumed it ., but they were barred into Anerica and Europe because they wanted to protect the turf. They are patenting the Neem and Basmati Rice so that they can gain. both Basmati Rice and Neem are generic to India.
They have rules so that they have control. Yes we are in for interesting times.

Interesting times indeed and the question remains - what to do, what to do. This whole exploitation thing is nothing new, the difference is that people seem to be less willing to just accept it.

Regarding what to do, there is no specific advice. You have to "catch the apples as they fall", so to speak. That means, you have to keep your eyes open to spot opportunities. Those who hard-headedly try to proceed as usual will most likely fail. But those who see what new opportunity the present situation (surprisingly) creates have a good chance to prosper. If they manage to live according to this "rule" in real life, they will look pretty good.
