Try to avoid the quality problem before receiving goods

Several days ago ,One of my clients contacted me for one case, they booked 50000feets cable, total value $240000, in which there are many difference spec from clientÂ’s drawing and first order . they lost almost $29500.00.
I have to remind some buyers, always be cautious to the factories,
My suggestions,
a) When you start to purchase from Chinese factory, you must not close your eyes for one minute, although last time they give you the correct goods, it doesn't mean this time they would have no mistake. This is the big problem with Chinese factory; you are not the first one facing this. You must chase them, correct them and supervising on them any time.
The reason is Chinese factory always have very poor management, sometimes when one production manager left the company, they would just leave no information to the next one, sometimes, when one man decide something, no other to check on his decision.
So mistakes are too common in Chinese factory.
b) If things have happened, I hope you would take following actions in future when dealing with them,
1) Make one " sample assess report "
List each of every points, when you check the sample from them, check one by one points, then you would find there are many points are not same with original sample.
2) Make a list , And tell them to correct this points.
3) Keep a record, for example, in which date you ask who to correct which points.
4) Then Find one " part time" quality controller, for example, there are three month production period, then after one month your Quality controller would be there and draw some samples and send you report.

I agree with your opinion, but I think let the buyer join the manufacturer' s quality management is not a simple matter, it will spend the buyer more human resource costs and their times. I think search the reliable sellers is a best way avoid the sammer products.

I not totally agree with you point.
