Fraudster works out on greed of buyers by offering more than normal profit margins which are unrealistic and tempting. That is where they lay the trap.
But, there are ways to find their bluff. Ask for proof of possession, payment through L/C, third party pre-shipment inspection, analysis reports, etc. for a few examples.

Its universal and greed is the downfall of all
Eg. They give very good price. We see and we want.
Then we think about it. And we think its worth the try...only $2000..will not kill me.
Then we calculate the profit...and we get blinded by it and TT the money. Item never arrive.
