After reading the forums, I suspected that scammers were present on the site but I was (probably should not have been) surprised at how many actually were active, and that they are from every corner of world, and not just a specific region or country.
What is the best way to promote a business as a legitimate and honest business?
I am a subcontractor that installs wiring, cable, and security devices like cameras, DVRs, access control, fire alarm, security systems, and other low voltage systems.
With the economic downturn, my business is slow and I’m looking to expand my services. I also know that some companies on this site have or are looking to expand to the U.S. to increase sales of their products.
Most of the contractors and companies that I have worked for are aware of the international trade, the quality of products, and the lower prices offered. They are reluctant to try the products because of the fear of international trade, customs paperwork, shipping time, warranties, and the fear of losing money to scammers with no way to recover their losses in another country.
I am considering offering services to international companies that want to expand to the U.S. The service is a U.S. based distribution location that warehouses their products, provide in country shipping so customs and international money exchanges are not a concern, and a location that can provide a U.S. address to contact for orders, warranties, product details and a sense of security for products they order.
Is this a business venture that is worth investigating, and how would I promote this service as an honest business and not a scam?
I am not clear about what you are proposing here.
Are you suggesting that you will purchase products from overseas, import them, warehouse them, and then onsell locally.
Or are you trying to work out a way to let them purchase the products but you help them import and store the products?
The idea is provide a warehouse / Shipping / customer contact point for in the united states for U.S. for manufacturers to use so that their U.S. customers won't have to wait for imports to to ship, clear customs etc.
This would allow the OEMs and distributors to deal directly with their customers, but have an agent and product in the U.S. to help reduce the fears of international trade, shipping time, and a contact point in the U.S. adding to the reliability and credibility of the company and products.
Wrong.......... I have no products, and if you did a little research about me and my background you have discovered that before making your accusations, but I also understand that this site is full of scammers and there is a reason for your doubts and negative attitude.
My information is on the internet and can easily found with a little research.
