 j, if you appreach me, then you have to do your upt most to gain my business. don't expect me to pay for your sample or mould. Why do I bother paying you 5000 sample fee and you cannot produce the sample? I just waste 5000 and you laugh at me?

HI~ SIR ,  i quite agree with you if  i meet the same situation like u .

but one item i  need to say"no" is "j".  acctually , many Chinese Sales have not got the right to bargin the price and can not decided to  give u the concession . there are so many companies have the "rule " that sales must do it.

as i know , many company need the sample fee or mold money if u  want to get sample before order. it is happend very commen in China ,especially in the factory . because they will make the sample especially to u . so i think it is acceptance for the company to require the sample fee.

Perhaps the first thng you shoudl do is ask the customer what they actually need.

This is my typical day.

a, wake up, check overnight emails. Cull anything that is not replated to me, so I don't reply those

b. Get ready and start visiting customers.  These are my regular customers, talk to them, find out what they need, have a good laugh, give them free samples to which they will test and destroy.  These samples are not cheap.  If theya re not happy, they will ask for more samples to test and destroy.  These cost money.

I can ask them to pay for the samples but then I can forget doing business with them. These are regular customers, so $50-100 in samples are normal.

c. take orders and do deliveries

d. Lunch, check emails and eat. Look for potential products.

e. Afternoon, go out to look for new customers.  They ask for samples to test and destroy.  It depends on how much I want their business. if theya re big customer and will buy a lot, then I give plenty of samples for them to test and destroy.

If they are not happy, they don't buy.  I say thank you for their time, smile and walk off.

f. Get to office, do paper work.

g. Go TM and talk to suppliers. Many people will try to contact me and sell things that I don't need.

h. Check quotes, if you can call them quotes. Sometimes i don't understand the email and just delete them.

i. Any qoutes that are way too over priced will get culled. 

If I currently pay RMB 1, and the quotes is RMB 5. then no reply, this person is wasting my time.

j. Sleep.

In 18 hours, i have to do all these. I don't have time to mess about with people who are not serious.

 through your calendar, it show us that you are very busy ,and u have worked very hard for your business .u do a lot work to  visiting your customer ,and give them free sample to destroy ,and u waste many time to delete the emails and waste time because some one say "hello~ how are u ? it is sunny , how about your side??"  all this give me a notice , it seems u anger for this .  but this is your work , if u are a vendor , u must do this .

our sales do lot work every day , maybe in your mind, it is just stupid things . we using our way to get  customer ,ge t order . we are working hard too.

what i want to say now is : factory ,sales  do not have much profit  even u give an order to them .  Not so many factory get the great profit from your orders .   but when u sell to your customer , u must  have a great profit from this case . u can get once or twice more profit then your order amount to factory.

so that 's why u keep giving your customers so many sample to destroy .

u using your way to gain your customers 's order ,and we sales ,too . we use our way to get order . but i can say  "it is u who earn a lot of money ", not our sales.

some people cannot read what is in trader mind... for they the trader only sell not buy... when we think it twisted the benefit is a lot.. so the traderss can help their partners...about the bussines marketing plan... [em3]

There is a diffrence in culture. People dont trust each other easily. The distence doesnt make it any easyer. People should work more with commercial agents in other countrys that know the culture were they are and also could be the face of your company. Ones you have good deals with big costumers its more easy to confince other big companys or buyers as wel. So i recommend myself as a commercial agent[em7]
