This is no place for display of papers, it is only from the writings which is the flow of thoughts from the mind that exhibits the level of understanding of the mind. Maybe you can tell us the University from which you get your MBA in Finance, and the year of your graduation.

If you are CEO of large corporation, what will be your best bet?
To employ someone without MBA but with good track records or someone with MBA but fresh and green in business.
This has a lot to depend on the type of business. For new business style it is better for fresh graduate with MBA. Starting from new, and eager and energetic to get the infrastructure and mechanism going. Knowledge is always your best bet.
There are two part of a employee; the will and the ability. A graduate with a good degree from a strong University posesses the ability, equiped with the skills and training s/he gets from the Uni. This person is in the Legislative, Judiciary and some Legislative functions. A non-graduate, or Street Smart person only has the ability to run a system already installed, and to run it effectively, and they are in the executive function. This highly skilled, is highly willing, but not really able to install and regulate a system.
The previous Donald Trump's TV program, the Apprentice on two groups: Street Smart and Book Smart, demonstrated this clearly. The Street smart was gaining on the Book Smart team when it comes to how to do sales gimmicks, find market niches and in practical marketing. But when the acid-test for substances in the deeply rooted knowledge of bureaucracy and matters such as the Administrative functions towards the later half of the program, Book Smart people began taking the lead, until the final one was chosen, a Book Smart female wiht MBA in Real Estate, in competition with Street Smart, well experienced business executive,

With the degree/training you will be able to work out your strategy from start to finish without implementation
Without the degree/training you will work out your strategy from the start but continually change it because of the lack of structure sometimes never getting to the finish
Hard work is commended, wasted hours is not

Dear Friends
Thanks for the infomation you shared with us.
You are very right about learned people but what about choosing CEO. Who will you choose as CEO.
Also while choosing team if you have all people MBAs with not much experience can complete there task in an efficient way.
New development is a different thing all together there obviously you require more of textual knoledge but they also with out experience will not be able to to be efficient.
Efficiency is very important in current scenario, when the recources are limited and competitions are high.

I have seen MBAs are hired (whether it is on the post of CEO or Manager/ Executives or at any senior posts) by the Non-MBAs successful entrepreneurs.
In India, today almost all the big giant industrialists like Reliance group (originator Dhiru Bhai Ambani - never seen the college) or Birlas Group (originator -G. D. Birla - a non MBA) etc. are the success stories of Non-MBAs entrepreneurs. All these industrialists had skills, capability to see the future opportunities, decision taking capabilities at the right time and sometimes their decisions were not based on the preset business norms. No doubt, today their next generations need to have professional degrees to be well equipped with the latest tools to carry on their empire successfully.
I am in total agreement with "Usman 0" that MBA+Skill = The Best. Only MBA without skill is nothing but a big Zero

Dear Vshanker
That is very true.
Being in business teach you what you learn in MBA cl *.
But real life learning develops skills for survival in you on the other hand classroom learning helps you to quantify and define things and go innovative.

This is very much weighted on which University the student graduated from and got his/her MBA.
There are countless MBA courses offered online and most of them are as useless as a piece of paper, without the graduates acquiring much skill and knowledge. Universities are ranked with the standards of other Institutions within the Nation and in the world.
Here in Singapore, the SMU (Singapore Management University) stood at very high ranking as compared to the world standard. Our Singapore Polytechnic students doing Marine Engineering also gain world class prestige, as they have to undergo one year practical internship working on board an ocean going vessel, much like the medical profession.
