About Gregory Sy:
Gregory Sy is Of Counsel with Grandall Legal Group. He is responsible for the international section of the firm, representing both domestic and foreign clients in international business transactions and new investment structures. More specifically, Gregory practices in the areas of Trade Dispute Resolution, Foreign Direct Investment (inbound & outbound), and International Transactions. Although he advises a broad range of companies, Gregory has developed a particular expertise in assisting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in a wide range of industries (retail, manufacturing, food and beverage services, import/export, distribution, education/training, internet, etc.) in their investment strategies/corporate and contractual structuring and operations in China and establishment of intermediate investment vehicles in offshore jurisdictions in the Chinese market.

Mr. Sy was selected to Who's Who International Professionals and holds a number of directorships in China and Hong Kong, including Xian Aussie Gold Cleaning Technologies Co., Ltd., Beijing Five-Star Sports Consulting Co., Ltd., and Syvex Limited. His representative transactions include advising various embassies and public institutions in China, along with both multinationals and SMEs. Besides, he publishes extensively on China-related issues, including an Editorship for various Martindale -Hubbell/Lexis-Nexis Law digests, and articles for China Law & Practice, Asia Legal Business, and various other publications.

Gregory holds an LL.B. from the University of Victoria, Canada, and is admitted to the New York State Bar. Prior to practicing law, Gregory was involved on the business side of a number of start-ups, ranging from Internet to franchising in personal services.
