Can you get a soft probe of sellers ****?

If the seller sends you their banking information ( Washington Mutual tied to their registered company name)...
....are you able to do a probe of their account by calling Washington Mutual and seeing how long they have had their account open and without any open complaints etc?
If anyone knows the best way to go about this and actually how much information you can find, It would be very great! Thanks in Advance
