In a former question, I asked how many prefixes and suffixes in this word.

When I was a little boy I proudly knew this word as the longest word in the English Language. Since then, a number of other words also make that claim.

Did you ever hear that the longest word is "smiles"? because there is a mile between the first and last letters.

antidisestablishmentarianism.
anti-dis-establ-ish-ment-ari(=ary)-an-ism.

a few people had "-ian-" and "-arian" as suffixes.

After consulting the Oxfordf English Dictionary, I think that "-ari-" and "-an" each stands alone. If anybody has anything further to add before I give the points, please weigh in.
