sir, sorry to hear the news that happed on me before happened on you now. Several years ago, i meet the similar sitiuation, a client of mine would like us to delivery the goods to shenzhen port, which was very far away from us, and we quoted price is FOB NINGBO PORT, if we did according to him, we would pay much more freight fee to the delivery port, we did not accept, however one day he suddenly told me he would take the goods, and asked his agent of shipping company to delivery the goods. our goods have reached the client's port for more than 10 days, however the client do not pay the balance 70% and do not take off their goods. I was asking him for the bank transfer confirmation of the balance, howeever he said that he would pay next week every time, final time, he sent me a false document. I felt very disappoint, however i did not gave up, and went on communicate with him, i promise him that we would accept the balance which appeared on the false bank transfer confirmation and which was 1000 dallor less than the order, asked him to pay us immdediately, or else we would bring a lawsuit on him. So he sent us the balance in the last. Though we lost 1000 dollar in this business, however i am satisfied with my dealing way, as if we would take other ways, we would lose much more. If we asked the shipping company to delivery the goods back, the sea freight fee is much larger than the advanced payment 30%, and the goods outdoor furniture is OEM products, difficult to sell to others, sold in lower prices, we would lose more. If we ask the shipping company to sell the goods, we would also lost much money. Where we would find a client who need the same products in the proper prices in a short time? It would leed to a cost of delaying to fetch the goods within a week after the ship arrive at the desitination, the time is longer, the cost is much. So the best way is to negotiate with the client, and sovle the problem with him together.
we are interested in your business. please contact us.
thanks.

Hi,
Noted the details,
Solutions:
1. Please try to sell the goods to another buyer at the same price, or lesser and forfeit the advance. Please assure your new buyer that your will bear the port and shipping line demurrage and freight.
2.If your are the shipper in the OBL, If possible please re-call the good back to your warehouse. Please note some destination ports requires NOC to recall or reship the cargo lying their port.
3.if possible please find the actual buyer at thailand and reship the goods from Malaysia to Thailand, In such case you have pay the additonal freight and demurrage.
4.Please do not wait further, as per international rules and regulations for seaports, if the goods are not cleared or taken from the port within stipulated time(as per each country), the port has the authority to auction the goods.
5.Make sure, for future deals always take 30% advance from all buyers and balance through irrevocable L/C at sight,(do mention TT reimbursement allowed as one of L/C clause).
