It was my own fault but should I keep on this low profit business?
I gave 5% dicount in the fair for this Lebanon customer, actually, 3% is the maximum, I tried to explain to him I made a mistake and it was my personal fault, this had nothing to do with my company, but he refused to raise up the price a bit. He is a new customer placed the order in the fair, I don’t really want to lose new customers but we just cannot use our 1 week production capacity making such a low profit order forever.
I asked my boss to give it up, but my boss said if he had power in his region, this would probably do harm to our repulation in Lebanon. So, what should I do then? Maybe raise the price back to normal from him second order? Or finding an exclusive agent in Lebanon with good selling price and nolonger sell to them?
Can I put him company name here? I want to know if he really had power in Lebanon, if no, I will rethink of taking back the order.
I feel so guilty but my boss didn’t blame me at all, thanks! Dear boss!
If i were you, i will be reasponsible to the behaviour i did. Every businessman should be sinere and do what he promised. Only in this way, we can keep moving and get a long-term relationship with our buyers. Once you did wrong thing, you will be never let your buyer trust you again.
Please be serious of each business, every customer will be helpful for your job, even your life in the future.

I think from your next order, you'd better make him clear that you already lose profit on the first order.
Jorgen Kenn at Delcan - Imtec - Gtech Electronics is an absolute thief and should not be trusted in any way.!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am one of many customers he has scammed by telling them that there product which has been paid for was mispackaged by dispatch and they sent off too many so they can only release hold if the person pays up all his/her savings?
He is a thief and trust me you will not see anything so DO NOT TRUST Jorgen Kenn he is a theif.
I am reporting him and so should you
Grimacekid,
You should not complain about your situation, you still made a profit in the end albeit small. What you can do is just tell your customer that in the next order the price will be higher if they accept it fine, if they reject this then look for another customer. At least by accepting the first shipment, you have shown dignity and honour in your deeds.
I would like to share with you my own experiences similar to this. I had a regular supplier from Guangzhou from whom I purchased 11 containers over a 2 year period. Each order averaged about USD 20K. In our last transaction, I only needed to fill up the space in the container of another supplier based in Guangzhou so I just placed a small order with him for USD 3K. After I sent him the money, he immediately said that he had made a mistake with the price and asked for me to either accept a higher price or just get my money back via a refund.
I believed he had indeed made a mistake with the price and he must be loosing on this particular transaction. However as the proforma invoice has already been confirmed and more importantly payment made, I felt that he should not have made a big fuss out of this as the order was merely worth USD 3K and the worse case scenario was him loosing maybe USD 300-500 out of this whole transaction.
To make the long story short, I asked him to just refund my USD3K and from then on, I stopped doing business with him. He has sent me emails asking for orders but i decided not to continue doing business with him.
