i think there are three ways you should do:

first,check the company's website of the supplyers and know about them simply ,from their web site you will find their address and the ablity of  supplying.

Second,you can enquiry them and chose the reasonable price and email them to ask the factory's picture.

last, you can ask them to send the picture of there production licence and other covering certifacations with email or fax the copy profile.

 

Of course, if you have chace to come to China to visit the supplyer's company , it's the most safe way.

 In fact,the way you judge whether your member is fraud varies from which kind of they maybe.

First, if your business is of big order, you can come to China and make sure they are credible. This is the best  way you do confirmed and know the capacity they can offer you the products. But sometimes it's the most troulbsome and expensive.

Second, if you do hava an agent or copartener trusted in China, you can ask them to help you to check if it's true. In this way you can get almost the most believable information and cost little.

Third,this is the way used most and commom, by phoning the company or logging on their website.But also this is the most venturesome and unreliable.

In fact, there are many companies which couldn't provide too much information to persuade every potential client believing that they are of trust,but their products is truly good. That depends on clients whether they are willing to take the risks. No doubts there's nobody willing to suffer losses, but who is sure they will realy be fooled? There alway more good than bad.

In one word, there's no etermal good ,but  bad is always bad.

as i see from all the answer there is no proof way to not be Cheated .

i think tha the chiness are cutting the Tree they are seating on.

this situation give an opertunity to open an Western company with business integrity and rools.

it can be a with a local company so all can benifit from it.
