Replying to [theyscamme]:Yes, you are so right, I get repititious emails all the time, saying they want to build a strong, lasting relationship (business). I got suspicious when two supposed suppliers continuously sent these emails to me daily. I have now blocked them. There are some great suppliers out there, is just alot of work (all necessary) to weed out the scammers.[em19]

I totally agree with you as alibaba site is full of scamers this includes Gold and Trust members alike However there are buyers who also scams the sellers They also go to the lenght to insist for free samples and will not pay for or contribute towards the shipping cost either On the other hand promise you of large orders etc if the request for shipping or cost of samples are asked for there is no further communication

Replying to [theyscamme]:Itsabout time that the so called importers remembered this is not ebay ,, dont let the scamers much this site up like they have ebay ,, if you want to buy a $10 cell/mob phone go to ebay and leave Alibaba for the genuine exporters /importers as it was intended..[em17]

There is a big difference though between "buyer" scams, and "seller" scams. If a seller agrees to send a potential buyer a free sample (which by the way, is almost unheard of these days), the most he is out is the cost of the sample.

If, on the other hand however, a seller insists on receiving full payment for an order from the buyer, and then does not deliver the goods, the buyer is out the entire amount....potentially thousands of dollars. This very thing happened to me recently, and I lost $1600. Wow, did I learn my lesson. NEVER SEND MONEY WESTERN UNION OR T/T (bank transfer). You have no way of recovering your money if the buyer scams you. So far, I have not found one honest seller through Alibaba in China. I'm sure there are some very honest sellers in China, but since my bad experience, I am very cautious, and I have not found one seller that is willing to provide me with the information that Alibaba recommends you get from them before sending them money. I have now conversed with more than 20, and none of them can come up with the necessary credentials to certify them as "bonified". BE VERY CAREFUL!!!!
