One of my customers decides to buy mobile phone from a supplier in our city.First,He needs to change the IMEI No. of the handset.Second,it's the first dealing between he and the mobile supplier.and the client doesn't want to buy one piece sample first in order to save the cost.He wants to place a trial order like 35pcs.In case,he asks our company to inspect the goods for him but only offer US$150 for it.Can any of you give me some advice ? Thanks a lot!

Just refuse him without any reason. Some foreign buyers are too avaricious/ greedy. In their eyes, China is the symbol for cheap product and service! They seldom respect our diligence in China. [em1][em1]

If your customer is willing to pay for inspection at going market rate, you should inspect and do so professionaly because your inspection report will reflect on your reliability.

Replying to [Susanny]:potential buyers are willing to pay any cost in samples, if they are really in need of goods, will not hesitate and willing to pay for the sample, at least in my field they do business in this way, so refuse them.

You seem to have a price you think is valid for inspection..If he meets that price you should do it and he should appreciate the contacts you have made for him until now.

A customer who trusts a supplier of his to give him advise, etc is one who respects you..But you must be careful he does not manipulate you. If there is mutual trust, you should help him so the relationhship goes beyond Dollars and sales.

I really appreciate my supplier who was willing to accept a some packages to put in a container they shipped us. This of course saved money..but more important it made working with my Chinese suppliers a real pleasure Had they asked for a handling charge..i would have paid it.
