Hello all,

I am new but have been reading these forums for awhile.

I am going to import underwear from china and was wondering if anyone could tell me whether I am allowed to attach my own swing tag (cardboard hang tag) to the garment?

My swing tag has my business name (brand) on it and a pic of the garment. Am I allowed to do this or is that illegal???

Thanks in advance. [em1]

Replying To  [joanofarc]:

Of course you can.

Just speak to the manufacturer about him putting the tags on over in China. Just send him the artwork, let him get them printed over there, and attach them to the garments before he ships them to you.

ditto!

Make sure with Kiwi Customs if there is any restriction (quota) for the product and if any specific notes on label is required (some countries require certain things printed on the tag).

Also if you are intending to sell wholesale (ie sell to retail shops etc) you might want to think about having barcode printed on the tag also....... More and more retailers are demanding barcodes these days.
