if anyone knew about the Ethnol and its usage in the worls: and is it a oil substitute?
Ethanol is in the same category as alcohol, which is highly flammable in it's purer states. It's molecular makeup allows for a rapid combustion, which is why it is a good renewable source of fuel. You would not use it for diesel application nor as a lubricant., only gasoline type combustion.

Ethanol is pure alcohol and is derived from various products using a distilling process for the purpose usually in producing alcoholic spirits (drinks.)
Ethanol cannot or should not be used as a fuel on its own but can be added to gasoline (petrol) in relatively smaller quantities since it tends to "dry out" the lubricosity of the fuel pump and mechanical parts of the engine. It is also hydroscopic, like methanol, which means it "attracts" water. It is useful for adding to a gasoline tank to absorb any water in the fuel and the water is therefore burnt in the motor.
Ethanol definitely cannot be used as a substitute for oil, however. It can be used mixed with diesel in small quantities in diesel engines periodically to clean and de-carbonize the injectors. Added to vegetable oil it increases "the flash-point" when used as a fuel additive when vegetable oil is used instead of diesel. It also tends to thin the vegie oil sufficiently - when used in the correct quantities - to enable the fuel system of a diesel motor to pump the vegie oil fuel to the motor.
The product can also used in the making of bio-diesel instead of the usual wood alcohol, methanol, and it is added in relatively small quantities to vegetable oil, tallows or fats when mixed with lye (caustic soda). Being highly inflammable, ethanol like methanol, is dangerous to handle.
There are divided opinions in the motor trade about the usage of ethanol as a gasoline additive or substiute, but the consensus of motor experts is that continued use of the addition of ethanol to gasoline can seriously harm vehicle engines eventually, unless of course those engines are suitably modified. There are reports that using ethanol as a fuel additive decreases economy, and therefore defeats the purpose. One of the benefits however, is reduced pollution into the atmosphere.
