Replying to [james-shao] This is a business site...anything about personal travel for vacation or fun would just clutter up this space. There are plenty for vacation websites to get vacation Ideas.

Even educating yourself about the people, customs, do's and don't will go along way! In this day and age, information is freely available on the Internet. This way you can be acustomed to what might or might happen on your trip. There is NO such thing as too much knowledge!.
Conduct your Business during the normal business hours of your host country / ies.
Analyze afterwards in your Hotel Room, the results of the day's agenda. Don't dwell on it, or second guess the outcome. Tomorrow will be another Business day. Try and achieve more positive results, if possible.
Enjoy the surroundings of the City or Country. Go out in the evening, and sample the foods, drinks, people in the area. Perhaps even make plans with your clients to go out that evening or at least ask questions about what to see and do in the area. Just try to relax and not stress, keep your mind entertained. Tomorrow is another day, and you know it will be there! [em1]

The best way is the put the topic at the main page of community more regularly; I hardly see any topic from here goes to the front page. I also noticed that the moderator recommendations were left hanging there for quite a long time un-changed. I have posted a few topics here but it seems that nobody is responding to it so I guess it goes un-read. Some level of initiative is needed

Hello James,

I believe you are referring to the Business Travel Forum, don't you? [em1]

Personally I think we need to offer more business travel tips and I am guilty because I haven't come here lately (By the way I posted another tip today: 11/20/07).

The more useful the topics are the better for the readers and, off course, they will recommend the forum.

Talking about recommendation we can also invite our coworkers and business associates do visit here. [em17]

All the best,

Ed Torres

Few things to do:
1) Budget control, no over expenses occur.
2) Business purpose achieved like complete the deals, collecting outstanding payments successfully...
3) smooth transportation required i.e. no flight delay, or miss the flight or train
4) rewarding food & drink when relax or after business
5) someone you like or love can travel with you
6) know some new friends who help your business or personal issues
7) meditation preparation in case you feel not good and not easy to find a doctot or problem of communication
8) exploration something new and interesting or useful
No matter what, to finish the business successfully then it is attractive enough

OK ,,,the real answer is that any business person hoping to go to China and just have meetings and factory tours is not likely to have a good trip at all.....I have found that after living in China for 3 months you have to understand the culture, the traffic, and everything else that China has to offer besides just goods and service's..So the real deal is a prospective customer needs to vist China 1st before deciding to business...He/She would have a better understanding of the business practice that takes place in China..Therefore it would make the 2nd trip ( accual business ) much more fun, enjoyable and comforting.......
