1. order containers at least one week in advance, or it's hardly to get space .
2. give forwarders at least two days to apply to customs ,or if something unexpected happened ,it will make many problems.
3. do not always ask for the cheapest rate ,because some liners have lower rate but bad service , long transit time ,bad service attitude ,and even abandon your containers in tranfer port.
4.Chinese shipping market is always floating ,before shipping ,it's better to confirm everything with forwarder again .[em21]

well theres always complete vasels schadule in which all the details are mention so i dont think there is any worry in delaying in that & every shipping company has cheap & fast services options...

Replying to [Parisi Shipping]: You are correct. Do not leave everything to the forwarder. It is always best to follow up with them about your shipment with enough lead time. There are peak seasons for cargo andbooking in advance and monitoring with the freight forwarder every details would go a long way in making sure your cargo leaves on schedule.
