how to find the clients

i am a rookie here ,i want so advice about the effective way to find the clients

Get trade manager
Open it, and choose the option Contacts at the top (File, View, Contacts)
From the contacts drop down menu, choose Search alibaba.com
In that window put ur keyword in, and teach based on continent/time zone...
one of the things u'll notice is which people have a trademanager symbol next to them. if its grey they r offline, if its orange they r online...
then just click on there and add in a short phrase of up to 100 characters, so let's say u sell bathroom tiles, you just send a message saying "bathroom tiles"
as long as the other person is semi-relevant to what u say in 2-3 words, u'll get an answer...
But i haven't found anything related to the business of our company so far, so just be patient and u will end up talking to a lot of people...

i think it would be best for you to zero in your targets first, which categories are you specialized in? what is your potential clients?
Narrow your targets down, or it would be quite troublesome since many irrelevant categories would be included. And then you might use the method of Trade Manager, or simply from Alibaba Buying or Selling lead to find your clients.
