Dear mr. Uno,

I am a Filipina residing in Japan for more than 8 years. I started business in the Philippines this year for castor bean which is widely use for chemical and pharmaceuticals because of its oil. Japan needs volume of oil of this bean but I don't know how to start and I am planning to get a consultnt here in Japan hence I am still here while expanding my planatation in the Philippines.

There was a Japanese who wants to put up a corporation together with me and he said he will finace the plantation but he is not doing it until there is already an order from a chemical company but I decided to quit with the japanese because he is not paying our employees in the Philippines and I am the one paying the loans for the plantation. He became active only in selling but not helping for the expansion of our palntation. It sees that he is only using us and when there is income that is the time that he will finance. It seems to be an agent only not one of the incorporators. Please help me with my problems.

There is a very big opportunity to earn money in my new products in the Philippines because it can be used not only for medicine, cosmetics, chemicals but it can also be used in bio fule for palnes and cars.

The huge volume of the castor oil is needed in japan but I don't know how to get more clients. I know one company, a chemical company who needs this castor bean and they wanted to have an initial delivery but the communication is thruogh the Japanese which I don't like because of not doing his promises and no transparency how much arewe gonna earn a kilo.

Please answer my inquyiry.

Thank you very much.

Hi, thank you for sharing your case with me. Frankly, your business is very interesting. For your information, even if you are in need position for a Japanese investor, you have to still make a professional consideration. Many people put trust too much on their Japanese partner that they do not realize that they are in lost position.

I myself together with my Japanese counterpart is working on a tree plantation investment project. Yes it is true that investor prefer a project that has end buyer for the product.

You can send your project summary to my email address and I will try to discuss with my Japanese counterpart if we can do something about it. I am not promisng anything but at least it's good sharing information.

Ganbatte kudasai!
