Can we get the buyer to pay for the Export Duty and Fuel surcharge if we are selling the goods by CNF?

During our discussion, I did mention that the CNF price does include only the goods and sea freight.

I would have to say NO. When I do CNF I expect NO extra charge.... and fuel charges should be included in the shipping cost I would say........ Any exprot duty would be part of your business expense in my opinion.... The same way that IMPORT duty is mine when it is unloaded at my end..... I would never expect a supplier to pay MY duty..... why shoukld a Buyer pay yours? Build it into the cost or absorb it... DON'T add it as an extra line item.
