CIF - Bulk Ship vs Container Ship
Post 1 of 5
Please verify if this is true or not.

Someone told me that for pricing CIF, the price varies depending on using a bulk ship or a container ship. FYI, I am shipping powder-form goods. As I understand it, bulk packaging means the goods are packaged in air-tight plastic bags. It would be almost impossible to ship powder-form goods in containers (TEUs) because it would just get all over the place and would be impossible to unload.

The CIF price includes the cost ,the insurance fee,and the freight.

at present the freigt costs a lot,so the freight  will decide wether your price is competitive or not. the freight depends on the quantity and the characteristic .If they  order one container fo the goods ,then the goods will be piled up in the container ,and the good will be safe.

JUST FYI.

GOODLUCK!
