In Canada  TAX ID # calls Business number and as he follow format: XXXXXXXXXRMXXXX

(X means number)

In USA TAX ID # calls EIN (TAX ID#) and has the follow format: XX-XXXXXXX

Both of these country (and aproximatle 200 othet country) used the HS CODE ( tarif numbers), which first 6 digits re absolutly the same. If you asked for code for export in US you must used the Schedule B. But this code don't include letters.

For me the abbreviation EG.  means for example. (DL123 should be different meaning, for axample flight #, postal kode in UK, etc.)
