Hi,

I am located in Toronto, Canada and I am currently thinking of starting my own mobile phone trading business. I have been rummaging through the leads provided in the alibaba site but I find that most companies listed are either selling quality items at suspiciously low prices or simply selling knock-off items.

I am in my mid-20s, so naturally I do not have a lot of start-up capital. Therefore I am looking for wholesalers/distributors/suppliers who are willing to accept low MOQ orders. I do not necessarily need to work with big margins; I just want to get my foot in the door and "get the ball rolling".

That being said, I am finding the whole mobile phone trading industry filled with landmines, and I would just like some advice from the more seasoned and experienced users in this forum to guide me to the right direction.

If you got suggestions for a young pup who is just starting out, please feel free to reply to this post or to email me at calvinwong09@gmail.com

Thank you in advance.

Calvin, look through some of the other posts as there are suppliers mentioned many times.
Best of luck!

[em9]After 24 years in business I have followed many paths.  The most important one is knowing what "not to do".  If you can avoid wasting time, energy, funds and focus on the things that work simply and profitably you will have much greater success.

Calvin, just find someone who is already there and pay them for help.  This will save you valuable time.
