I am lesley from mold and production factory . From Jan till now , I find that nearly no inquiry ( even including spam mail ) to my email box . And i tried to find some buyers at alibaba , ec21 ,made in china such pubic platform( athough nearly no update purchusing information each day)

In meantime ,Each day i adhere to update my products in my alibaba to attract potential clients  .

 But the result  let me feel frustration .  My top manager always talk to me for the same content .It's why i haven't many quotation than before . He doubt my working sprit is  reduced day by day .If say that it's affected by global economy crisis ,He think that is just excuse .Any way,I feel it's difficult for me to answer .

I want to change the embarrassed situation but now i don't know how can i do . I wish every friend's advise .Thanks very much .

Don't know if this is of any help, but:


Try to approach potential clients differently than the average seller...


I find many mails with "Hi, I'm Lin....my company is the best...blablabla..."

See I already lost my interest in reading...


Be short, give info I really need...price with MOQ, quantity,quality, delivery time your capacity ...and make short sentences...not whole stories..I really don't have the time to read it, if I'm interested we can get around to introduction...


And economic crisis IS having it's way around all of us...so don't worry what your boss says, he is probably taking his own frustration out on you!

These times of crises are times of introspection and valueable time of our life to re-organise ourself to face the new tomorrow.  True the Global exonomic downturn has bee causing us a great deal of difficulties, but you must believe that these are only temperory and you must prepare yourself for the time to come when you will be asked to apply the latest technologies and systems for your supplies.  For the time being you must consentrate to setting your house in order and work out a strategy to tide over the situation and the bad time so that you emerge stronger in the times to come.  I wish you all the very best.

I am sorry to hear this coments but you are not alone . The world is in crisis and my orders are in zero purchase orders from november to today March 05 2009  . What can we do ? look for another job opprtunity if you can and this is what I am doing . Maybe your boss is not living in the real world of now . My friends with big business are 50% in sales this month and going down . We are going into a depretion and not recession as some people think . Ba aware that things are going to get worse and not easyer . Prices should go down so we all can consume products at large . The reason for pricing to go high was due to a fiticious demand causing prices to go higher and now all manufacturers must mark their prices down . The only way to make product atractive again is pricing the goods down as much as we can otherwise no one will be able to afford to buy products and we all will loose jobs and who will comsume products ? the middle and low class people are the real comsumers .


Your boss should understand the cItuation or YOUR JOB IS IN JEOPARDY , WORKER BE AWARE AND BE SMART

During these slow times, work on your website and other advertising. make sure you are utilizing high quality suppliers with good reputations. Be ready with quality and reputation when customers contact you. Know your products.

Another thing to do during slow times is to take some time to get away for a day. That'll give you a good attitude.

the same situation with you, next month, May be i also get fired.

  I can understand your situation. There is a big conflict between our wishes and reality. Right, we are under the bad situation, but i still believe business going on. As far as I know, many company's producing plan have been arranged in july. So there is chance. Don't be disappointed, try to perfect your posting products and find potential clients. Time will prove it.

Our overseas business sales is going down that affected by the economic crisis.
But we are lucky, our homemarket business is bound to expand and prosper.
So I hope that all the factories are not become discouraged and put everything to its best use.Believe everything will goes well ....
Then to be action, and strive for our dreams through work hard.
