I have taught sales techniques to many people over the years. The first and foremost thing is to believe in yourself and believe in what you are selling. That belief will be noticed by those you want to do business with. Be honest, sincere and diligent. Seek out different opportunities and put yourself in the others persons place....why should they do business with you? If you can answer that question then you have  opened the door for a relationship with them. Even if they do not have a need now, they may know someone who does or they may have a need later. I think the most important thing is that you should let your customers gain more money first, and could help them to solidify and enlarge their local market,   then,the money will fill your pocket.

How can become a successful sales man?

Good topic, first of all , of course you should good at both oral and writing English, and secondly you should know anything about your field. No one like doing business with a green hand.third, have a good products, service, and also the price issue , you should know that, different country require the product’s quality are not always the same, so you should according to different demand and give them different products , price.

Last but not least, luck. Even though you are ambitious , experiences, but the market right now, no one need your products, you can do nothing , just wait, or good luck on you, some handful of guy by accidently need your  products.

So I would say, as a sales man like seek the needles in the ocean, one is need skill ,most importantly need a little bit luck.
