Payment Terms for UREA 46 with Brazillian Supplier
Post 1 of 4

Hello everyone,

At the moment, i'm in final stage of concluding the purchases of UREA 46 from Brazil.

We have already signed the contract with the Brazillian supplier for 500MT UREA 46% of Brazillian Origin. Priced around USD300/MT CIF Asean port.

However at the last moment before issuing the L/C the supplier insisted that i issue them the L/C with RED CLAUSE 35% advances. I don't feel comfortable because with Confirmed Irrevocable L/C 100% At Sight, i think is Fair enough for both buyer & seller....As this is the first trial business...

Anyone with experiences in trading UREA pls give your advices.
