Hello there. I am a 22 year old college student who has activly paid his bills the past 4 years by importing mp4 clones and bluetooth headsets from China to USA to resell on line and locally.

I took a little break last semester and heard customs was difficult to get past now.

Im importing from Schenzhen to USA. My past orders have been 300-500 psc totaling 8,000.

My supplier in China tells me If I make orders below 100, I should have no problem with customs.

Can anyone tell me

1) The risk on large orders of being never delivered or held up
2) If there is any risk and how much less for small orders.
3) Any other relevant new customs information regarding importation of electronic bluetooth ear pieces.

Thanks so much.

Dustin

Replying to [Dustin Adam Jones]: If what you do is within the law and is with genuine suppliers, there is no risk. The only risk is if you are importing illegal merchandise or if you are dealing with an unreliable suplier.

No risk, yes.

And possibly no profit as well. I think this is the problem, profit always comes with risk.

As long as the items are legal, there is no problem.

hello my friends ,the case is that :it does not mean you will have trouble with the customs when the quantity  is big .the sender just  gave you suggestion that if your quantity id below 100,it will not have the custom declaration procedure ,it will be faster for it will be taken as the private goods not for the general trade, can you understand ?hehe

Thanks for the Info. I was told they were real and that their Trading company was only in China and that they would arrive no problem. Only after talking on the phone and demanding the truth from supplier did I get a real answer.

Is there anyway to get the package sent back so that they can refund me? My worker in China tells me I have a good chance.

[em1] Maybe you can consider to ship the goods by air-express,that maybe more safe !!!

Only 100 pcs ????even 1000pcs,why not chose the DHL or UPS EXPESS delivery Method,it is easy and cheap for small orders ,and it is also very easy to pass the customer.

Hello,

I have a issue with a company and here is what happened, I found some security cameras on ebay and decided to get a couple from them, the items had GD for item location didn;t pay attention and a company in it looks like tialand. I got this stuff and none of it has a name for any of it just blank and I sent a message not happy wanting to send it back and they got upset tried as hard as they could to get me to hook all it up well after they see I am not budging they have become very rude and haven't answered emails sent. Also they gave me a address in Canada to send it back to so we have 3 countries for this 1 transaction and I don;t want to send this stuff back and never here from them again, please help me what are my options outside of the credit card and paypal as they tricked me into sending the invoice through paypal so ebay won't do anything and paypal won;t cover anything outside of ebay. I really feel backed in a corner.

Thanks,

Dallas
