I just happened to stumble upon this blog.. I am in communication with the same company and the exact same situation... come and meet face to face to sign contract....

some how amuses me if suddenly on the last moment they wont like my face and not sign the contract... or ask for money for seeing my face... ha hahaha.. can you write to me on wishwishwishwish@yahoo.com... have you visited them already and survived...!!???

This company here: www.boteqi.en.alibaba.com also just  want your money - when you have paid, you will not get the goods. Alibaba told me, that they have being investigation this company and "consider" to remove it as gold supplier - but if they allready know, something is wrong, then why just consider it - I just dont understand why they allow it - Alibaba has a good reputation world wide - people belive in Alibaba and their gold suppliers, but it seems that they accept fraud.

     Could you imagine if you are a paid member of  a trade organisation or a club in your homeland, would you feel alright when the relevant organisation you joined terminated your membership before your due date without strong reason and proven evidance ? Would you be the same situation as you are now and look into it and consider to take legal action upon them based on the membership agreement liabilities ? If  your local practice could just take action upon others that ones think the other party is wrong like what you like now ? There is no protection on the other party  to say or defence ? It do not sounds like this is going to happen in a western country for sure. I am sincerely very keen to learn from you about such a same case happen in your homeland. What would be the procedure to proceed?  How  is the organisation would act on this ? They just terminate your membership because someone complaint on you regardless what you have signed an agreement with them?

All car drivers on the road are not licensed to drive. All are certainly not issued the "Gold Driver" designation by the licensing authority.


Anything can happen in an accident and relevant bodies have been indeed been held accountable for negligently issuing, or failing to revoke licenses when these were held by drivers who subsequently caused an accident.


One does not, at least in my homeland's practice, procure a "Golden License" by passing a bit of graft to the issuing authority. Perhaps this practice differs according to the country.


Alibaba issues "Gold Supplier" designations and actively encourages members to obtain trust p explicitly for the reason of instilling confidence in members. It therefore leads or misleads its users or members to believe that certain suppliers have particularly met with its approval.


Alibaba has its own internal procedures for investigating those - apparently quite frequent - instances in which members do not meet their obligations and therefore performs a function analogous to a policing authority.


It would seem very much to me, given the above, that Alibaba is not merely a platform, as you maintain.

Simply put, there is nothing like Gold supplier in Alibaba. This is the worst title that has brought disasterous loses on buyers and has destroyed the Alibaba website. There is no registration check on the companies before they labelled Gold supplier. No export record. Once Alibaba collect $500, the company automatically becomes Gold supplier whether it exists or not. On the far thought, it can be suspected that Alibaba operators knows this scammers very well and are collaborating with them to defraud people. Alibaba should be held responding for this mess.

Please if you are  new to this site, the most simple advice for you is to leave any supplier linked to Alibaba. They are cliques. Changing names and title with the same intention, which is to defraud you. For every one reliable supplier in Alibaba, there are about 20 fake ones.

This is your example I never mentioned at all. Clearly my case is LICENSED drivers on the road. For an accident in your country, you do not make a traffic police report ? You going to complain the licensing department ? You doubt about your own country licensing authority ?

You are perfectionist in your thinking. Look at what had happened to the US financial crisis involved USD700billion bailout in mortgage and insurance cases from very prominent LICENSED financial institutions,  I am pretty sure thousands of innocent victims being cheated or stolen or scammed in this crisis alerted the FBI to investigate. How you expect this could happen in a such civilised and protective country? I am not surprise this could happen in your country too, so, activate your own diligence to judge while involve anything in money, always make a double checks and deep consideration, never believe in 100%.

You don't get it Mr Alibaba.  It is not tens, not hundreds, not thousands but hundreds of thousands of thieves you have on Alibaba.  Theft has become the main business on your site.

Alibaba sells TrustP and Gold Supplier status and explicitly states on its website and promotional materials that both of these instill confidence in trading partners. This particular thread, among others, shows quite clearly that Alibaba is aware that such confidence is often misplaced. Alibaba therefore bears some responsibility for the behaviour of the suppliers it accredits.


I wonder how long it will be before someone or some group holds Alibaba accountable for its actions.
