Quoting from [Sabby]:

Why do chinese companies not use PDF

Compared to Excel PDF files are 10 times smaller, easy to upload and download and more presentable. The files cannot be changed.

The company can prepare it in excel and conver it into PDF .

many sites offer free PDF converters and readers

Maybe they do not have Acrobat Distiller.

A couple of recommendations.

Easily convert Excel files to .PDF
Also, convert webpages, and word documents to .PDF
Link:
http://www.expresspdf.com/ConvertExcelToPdf.aspx
(Max. 20mb upload)

Well, don't forget, you can also create slide show on Power Point, and save it as .pdf file.

.pdf files are more presentable, for sure!

MY friends you can use this very useful link for totally free pdf file printer www.dopdf.com an excellent software that permits you to convert all kinds of files to PDF.

You can read pdf files in a lot of free PDF softwares, but cannot print your work into pdf . If you can then there is the question of watermarks on the print that you have taken . BUT in dopdf there is no limitation at all is a freeware unlike others which are shareware.  But the file size becomes a bit bigger unlike the adobe acrobat.

In adobe acrobat you can actually reduce the file size too.

I do hope i could impress upon you to try use of free available software.
