Overall Ranking MVP:13,350 Rank:38

Yesterday, I read a post in my good freind's blog about her bad working experince recently.

Her factory wanted to attend a fair in a city.
The concerned organization contacted them for the exhibition issue.
Everything went on well and the organization charged them 50% deposit.
They has paid 50% balance after they recevied some documents and contract.
But the organization disappeared after that.
So it was scam!
Although some suspects from that company was showed up at the beginning, my freind they didn't pay too much attentions at that time.
They chose to trust this organization.

This story was nothing to do with my title.
But what I want to express is that, business (even life) is an adventure. Nothing adventure, nothing gain.
It will be risky to import from foreign country, in the meanwhile, you will earn your profits, are you still willing to take this adventure?

I am working as a sourcing agency.
Thanks for my buyers'trusts, they are happy to give me the orders, although I share their profits, instead of giving their orders to the factories directly.

One reason is they are happy with my service and repuation. They trust me a lot.
Another reason is they want me to reduce (partake)their risks.
As what my buyer said to you: Jasmine, if the factory cause prolems or scam, you know, you will have to pay me back my money, and you will solve yourself, as you trade between two parties. It is realist, but this is also business. You will make money, you will also lost money, even bankrupt.

I want to give an exmaple.
I found out one product for my buyer from B2B website.

I contacted the supplier, the product information was same as what my buyer required.
The order was there.
I did some researches, and also contacted that supplier, it seems the supplier has no problem about the reputation.
Then I got the order and forward it to that supplier.

The supplier in another city which is very far from my location.
It was hard to fly there and visited them before placing order. I only verified with some ways.

When the goods were ready to ship, the supplier wanted to receive 70% balance before shipment.
So I became more carefully before pay.
I called the concerned department. That company was registered. The information they registered was same
as what shows on their website.
I also found a business contact in that place to make the pre-inspection.

Although the goods were there, I still had so many worries.
I will relax until the goods are shipped on board.

I earned little profits in this order(the profits nowadays are so low), but I had to take such a big advendure.
But this is business.
If you want to make money, you will need to suffer what you have to face.

I am not asking you to risk to do the business. This is against the realist.
You are right to be cautious and do some research or verify before pay money, but you also have to offer the basic trust.

Good luck, dear importers!
