Hi I am a Australian Business man who has been Scammed on this site.


I decided 3 weeks ago to look into purchasing new mobile phones ( As I am a Mobile phone Retailer )

I sourced a company from China who claimed to provide the phones I was after.

After I looked around on there site I noticed they had a Trustpass profile and were gold members which I assumed to be safe ( BIG MISTAKE!!! )

So I selected the model I wanted and decided to place a test order for 1 unit.

I was told that it would be 5 days till the phone was delivered and I stated to them I would be Buying 128pieces Once the test package arrived.

7 days later and still no delivery they did supply me with a EMS Tracking number but It didnt work.

I subsequently sent them a few emails expressing my concern and was told that it was delays due to the Olympics.

After 13 days the item FINALLY was on EMS ( Much to my relief ) Then when the item arrived It was a completely different phone, was a cheap copy probably worth all of $60, didnt even work. And had 2 cheap Ipod Nano clones with it.

So I send a email to the company stating the order was wrong then they say that there was a error and they will send right phone only after I return what I got.

I dont feel safe sending it back and taking the risk of not receiving anything.

The company was Shenzhen Shidaiyinxiang Designs Ltd

Anyone who has dealt with them with or any help would be appreciated.

Dear Sir,

You are there are so many scammers all over the world,but not only in China.So,let us do it together to kill them.

I think that we can not trust on just beacuse of their "Trustpass". We should still do some research before we do business with them.You can know something about it form the communications through MSN,email,telphone,etc. We should pay much attention to it. After all that.Then,you can send your sample order to them for test both the products quality  and the supplier. Naturally, they will give your the tracking number as soon as they send the samples.

To establish a trustful cooperation is not easy.We should be carefully and carefully.

I THINK ALIBABA  DOESN'T CARE!  MAYBE THEY ARE PART OF IT! SCAMMER!?

IF THEY CARE THEY NEED TO FIX IT OR REMOVE THOES SITE. BUT THE THING IS THE CHINESE * KEEP CHANGING THEIR WEBSITE EVERYTIME AFTER THEY MAKE MONEY.

formerly trading under Yantai Sports Garments:

Placed a sample order with them for only two pieces, luckily! They grabbed the cash which I foolishly sent through Western Union. Eventually they provided a tracking number but of course the package never arrived.

Obviously many buyers are being scammed in this way and the worst thing is that Alibaba won't do anything about it. This lot as mentioned are a GOLD SUPPLIER, who when I made the transaction were trading as the latter and now claim no knowledge of my order or the so-called salesperson I dealt with.

Her/his name is Cherry Yuan. Anyway after receiving no replies to my enquiries I contacted Alibaba, their response is copied below. It clearly demonstrates how shallow Alibaba's Gold Supplier system.

In short the 'Gold Supplier' tag means SH*T and more than likely they simply pay to have this credit, you get NO PROTECTION from it!

"Firstly, Yantai Huajian Sports Garments was removed by Alibaba.com, but not by themselves. 

 Meanwhile, I discussed with our concerned departments about this issue in the past few days. Personally, I agree that the two companies are quite similar. However, our concerned department thought that we cannot verify that they are the same company. 

 For your information, we only check our Gold Supplier’s basic information, such as company name, registered address, the year established, Legal Representative/Business Owner, which confirm to their registration.  So legally, we thought that they are two different companies because their registered information are all different."

Hi There,

I just found this page on the web about scams and fraudolent supplier on alibaba. I'm so angry now to realise that the order i placed last week (and i paid for) more than likely will never arrive! The company i bought from was Shenzhen Shidaiyinxiang Designs Ltd. and i ordered 5 playstations 3 + games, 1 mobile phone and a memory stick pro. I'm afraid, reading other posts around this site, that if i'm lucky, i will receive only fake copies of all those items (they guaranteed everything was original!) and this is unacceptable. There must be a chance of getting the money back, contacting the International Police Department or something like that. Please, if someone knows anything about that or having the same problems, contact me at the_trancemaster@yahoo.co.uk
