I don`t know who should be blamed on,the buyer,me,or the scammers on the internet.

Recently one customer found our newest product, and showed great interest in it.Every thing went on so sucessfully and smoothly, until just now our potential customer was afraid to pay the sample before we send them( for god`s sake it is just usual for buyers pay the samples fee before shipment, don`t you agree?).I try to pursuade him to trust us,and actually we sent him our legal manufacturer`s business license, and still he was not very sure whether pay it or not.

I have been in export business for so many years, and have noticed there is greater lacking of trust between buyers and sellers. Why??????

Too many scammers in the world now..... The EU estimated that over 2 BILLION Euro's of counterfeit goods were shippied from Asia to the EU in 2008....... the bulk of those counterfeits from China...... The lack of trust is caused by things like that.... Until countries deal with the counterfeiters in their own countries buyers in other countries will be wary of deals....

Yes very true, indeed I must agree. Usually i ask the buyer that i will pay between 15%-20% of the price now and when I recieve the BOL I will pay the remainder. If they are a genuine company they will accept.

Seller worry buyer to scam them, buyer worry seller to scam them.

I've once received a sample from a Italian company, and he want me to make a neoprene bag to pick this sample, that is exactly a OEM product, I asked him to pay for the sample cost, but they were not willing to pay, even if I accept to make the sample but without printing first, but the client still insist on it, as we know that printing is so normal and once sample is confirmed, it is easy to deal with printing, but cost a little.

As a supplier, we do not know whether they are really want to place order, so we want to deal with them step by step.

Sometime, it is hard to understand buyer, and buyer sometime hard to understand seller.

we are also a printing factory in guangzhou of china. yes, lots of client needs making samples before mass order. so send sample /make sample /sample confirm / sample fee problem / become our mian daily jods.   so i think every company has they own rules on these .

our company :   1. if client ask for free sample, we can send to them free but they have to charge the delivery fee first. (forturnatly , lots of our client willing accept that .) 2.  some time qoute to client, they think the price is ok, then they send the sample to us confirm . 3. sample confirm , these is the last step . i am really confuse that , when once send out the sample to client , they will not give any feedback then.  that is really bad as a buyer.

Business is always with risk. Risk of cheated, risk of lost and the like.

I think buyers should search information about the suppliers which he or she will deal with. And try to judge from the words among chat.

As a supplier, we need to try to cooperate with our buyers and try to provide them best sevice. Providing more information for their check that we are real suppliers. Not scammers!

As a buyers, I think what you have to polish you eyes, think twice before make a decision. As you business man you can not just stop buying just because of afraid of being cheated.

We can see that in these forum, filling with articles of being cheated, but there are still transcation everyday. What can we do? We still need to move on.

You try to co-operate with your buyers? Do you inform them that you do not have the leagl right to be selling ANY of the Brand Name products you list as those you sell on Alibaba?.... There is absolutely no way that you have contracts with all those manufacturers! YOU ARE THE SCAMMER ALL YOUR PRODUCTS ARE ILLEGAL!.

the trust is subtile thing between the buyers and the sellers...... i have met the embarrassed moment that one of my potential customers was going on to send the money to our company , at the moment he said that he was cheated by his supplier . he said that he just pay off the money to his supplier , then the supplier disappeared.

i heard those, i am scared ......
