Replying to [Professor Carl]:

Dear Professor Carl, you have done a good job. We usually write some sentences wrongly, can't express ourself clearly, write local form e[E]nglish[space](Chinese English), and sometimes we mistake the true meaning of the foreigners,[.]i[I]I doesn't matters so much if in common condition, but it will cost much while communicating with the foreign clients by mistakeing their real intention[s],[of] their designer, it will be a baffle [us in] to our deals with foreign buyer.............

Professor Carl Notes: You're right... there are probably many deals that go wrong on the basis of little mistakes. Let's hope that there is some as yet unimagined invention of communication that can make our meanings clear and our intentions straightforward.

Replying to [Professor Carl]: English Corner in Alibaba community is something like the one held in my university originally, the only difference is that we could speak English with each other but here we could not which of course are apprehensible.

This post is good, we can earn MVP's while receiving free correction on our English, [em3], thanks, well I also hope Mr Carl could tell us the reason why you make that correction if you find a mistake in my writting, it may help us to avoid the same mistake under another condition in the future.

Additionaly, I chose a nickname as "Aftercloudy", purely translated by Chinese when I registered my account before, I never have a chance to ask a foreigner, would like to know what kind of feeling you will have when you notice this nickname? Thanks.

Aftercloudy.

You are quite literate in your written English. At the top of the cl *. [em19] The mistakes in your writing are that you have three "run on sentences". You can look that up. You should put a period, end the sentence, and start a new one. "Aftercloudy" is interesting. If it where "Aftercloud" it would be like an American Indian name. Are you saying that that is your English name, like where Chinese choose names like Bill, Janice, Thomas, and Ruby? And you choose "Aftercloudy"? I don't think that is what you mean -- or is it? Can you see your "run on sentences"?

replying to the following...posts such as yours are too long for me. [em8] Sorry, Aftercloudy, but I can not give such long posts the attention I would like to. When you write short posts, I can point out a few things, and you can try to remember them. I think Aftercloudy is a fine name.

Mr Carl, I reviewed my writting, and insert as above for those 3 points, please not hesitate to point out if still not correct, I look forward to seeing it, thanks.

In regards to "Aftercloudy", it is my nickname I used in Alibaba. I expect to see the sky after a cloudy day, maybe sunny or rainstorm. It is completely organized by Chinese meaning. I was only wondering what a foreigner would feel if they noticed that so I asked, also I might be able to understand some "name culture" of English, more or less is ok.

Regards.

Dear Professor,

Below is my feeling about earning the MVPs. Waiting for your correction. The title of the topic is "Posting for MVPs make me feel so terrible."

A few months ago, I participated in an activity “promote signature” that can exposure your company frequently. It’s fresh to me and I think it’s a good manner to promote my company, so I reply actively on the forum for earning the MVPs. After three weeks later, I felt so terrible that my posting for MVPs, I’m boring that I earned the two points for each posting and consumed 100MVPs per week. That required me should post fifty times' reply at least. It made me feel so tired. So I decided to cancel that faction finally.

Now I feel so relaxed for myself. Everyone, if you have the same feeling, please share your experience and opinion. Good luck.[em7] That's all.

Best Regards!

Just another reminder...put a space after punctuation--periods, commas, question marks. It will appear much better to English readers.

Replying to [Professor Carl]:hello again mr carl ,
there is some thing hit up my mind and i want to speak about it , and it will consider as practising for me , in our daily life we can see some people are very tempered and nervous should we try to speak to them gently or we should defend ourselves and try to be powefull character and what that tempered person and that nervous one is some one is close to us should we forget if they break up our emotion and let us down , or every one has some energy and may be that extra engery can disspear some day and we canot stand any more that temper and the moody persons .
thanks , shimaa
