Rubbish recycle
Post 1 of 5

A recent report by CCTV journalist says Japanese homes divide their rubbishes into 17 categories. Is that true ? In China, we usually have only two categories, Recycleable and Non-recycleable. Things like paper, metal, plastic etc, go to the Recyclable tub. Others go to Non-recycleable. Further works are done by those factories specialized in such job.

How is the situation in your country?

Not sure of the categories. I did a search and found the story of the journalist's trip to Japan. He visited a family and they talked about the rubbish recycle. Japanese do very well in protecting the environment. Please view http://news.tom.com/2007-03-29/OI27/45464002.html
