I started communicating with one supplier we met with through alibaba.com. and after months of talking with them back and forth, we placed an order, and we paid a deposit for the order. Come the month of May and after all the hard work, sending samples, and paying money for samples, and talking back and forth with this suppliers, we found out that after we received two whole containers of junk irregular and trashy merchandise. We were cheated out of $45,000.00US dollars. My husband almost had a heart attack, and I'm still having a problem concentrating in my work. I really feel sad and angry that after all these years of dealing with China, we get cheated this way. I lost all my trust with all of China's suppliers, and I'me never ever trusting any supplier through alibaba.com.

Replying to [samkesbeh]: SO I STILL INSIST ON VISITING THE FACTORY BEFORE MAKEING ORDER TO THEM.THOUGH I AM A TRADING COMPANY IN GUANGZHOU,CHINA.

BUT I KNOW THAT LOTS OF CUSTOMERS LIKE TO DO BUSINESS DIRECTLY WITH THE MANUFACTURE BECAUSE OF 5%-10% PRICE LOWER. IN THIS CASE, YOU HAVE TO PAY MORE ATTENTION TO ANY ORDER BECAUSE YOU ARE NOT IN CHINA, YOU CAN'T INSPECT THE PRODUCTS. THAT'S THE POINT WHICH YOU NEED IS SERVICE FROM TRADING COMPANY OR PRODUCTS DIRECTLY FROM FACTORY.

Replying to [samkesbeh]:Sorry to hear what happened to your company and sorry to hear your lost.
Some of China factories cheat by cheaper products, but samples and real shipment are different stories.
In our experience, always be carefully, when you deal with them.
Went to the factory first, and also send people to inspect the shipment before they shipped out. Never pay they in advance, until you checked the product by official inspection company if you don't trust any one to do that.
Alibaba has many real and fraud factories,so must be really careful in chosing a partnership you trust enough to put money in.
Now if it's a legal factory you could suit them,or asked them to return the junk at their cost.

God bless you.I will pray a peaceful heart to you and your husband
Best wishes,
Shirley

Replying to [supersun]: thank you shirley, I know it's not fair on my part to be so negative towards all China suppliers. I've dealth with Taiwan and China since 1985, and we have good friends in both, I'm just shocked that after all these years of being in business to face this problem. You said if they are a legal factory, how do I know that? We are still looking for a law firm in China to handle this case, I just don't want to pay more money over my loss.
