I am new to Alibaba. Buying some electronics from HK supplier (under $2000 USD). What is the normal method of payment that should be used. Seller asks for sending money using Western Union, is this okay ?

Replying to [mario2007]:Be very careful. It could be a Scam. I used Western Union and never received any products and it was for 2300.

Could be a scam... What exactly are the products? Are they Brand Name products?

just do business with them, before the deal be finished, it is too early to tell what they are. you should believe most of suppliers out there are real and responsible, this is just a payment requirement as part of operating a deal. don't worry too much. good luck.[em3]

Replying to [mario2007]: Why not use T/T? Usually do business small amount you can adopt T/T which needs 3-5 days .
