One major difference between distributor and sales representative (agent) is that the distributor takes title of the goods and the sales representative does not. Also, the distributor is compensated using mark-up and the sales representative is most often compensated by commission. It all depends on the product, frequency of transaction and the country, but what would you say is the average percentage (%) commission in your area?

The discussion on the subject is intersteing.I think we all know the diffrence between an agent and a rep.This is all basic information.The real issue is to find an agent.Is there a web site or an assosiation that can assist you in finding a agent or a rep
