[em24] Dear Suppliers,
I was almost scammed recently. I received a huge order with excellent payment terms, 40% advance remainder in LC before shipment. All terms in favor of my company. Only they ask me to send authority to them for notarization of contract as well as to share in the notary fee to be paid for the contract. My reply was for them to send me the contract and authorization, and I would have it notarized in my country at the Chinese Embassy at my expense no charge, they would not agree. Fishy?????? well the contract did not push through. They never replied again

Dear Suppliers,
I have also got a contract from China saying that they require my products & they are ready to pay 30% advance & rest 70% before shipment. Also, they called me to China(beijing) for notary. This Chinese company's name is "Hainan Yuan Yi Import & Export Co." & also has a subsidiary called "Bei Jing Yuan Yi Import & Export Co."
I do not know if this company is real or not. I called them & they replied to me on phone & also reply my mails. They are constantly asking me to come to China & do the notarization & also pay them an advance of 0.5% of the contract as Quality assurance.
Please can anyone tell me if this company is true? Also, what should I do more to find out? I do not know anyone in China.
I hope to see some help coming here.

Did they ask a sample for check before ordering? If not, be careful.

Also, I checked on Alibaba.com and can not find a matching result. If you met this supplier on our site, please provide with me the full company name as well as their links on our site. I will try to make a check.

You can find the buyer name on alibaba.com or yahoo.com   to check having  this company name information first,

If do not have this company name /information, this importer is 100% small company or not in exist.

It's impossible for the small company to put large order 1st time.  You told him trial order for beginning

and insist on  T/T in advance  basis. when 1st business is success then talk again the further big order.

If the China importer push you to go China to sign the Contract (it's false)  you will not only lost your time

and money to China and sometime you may rubbed by those guy.

Best way to have Chinese friends with you when you are in China to doing foreign trade  with the  China  importer in 1st time.

This is my suggestion for your reference.
