D.I.Y. Verifying Indonesian companies
Post 1 of 120
The reports of many scams by the Fake or fictitious companies registered in Alibaba site, and the new members who were trying to get a good buy on products of their desire, unaware of the wolves in sheep's clothing of those would-be vendors. Prompts me to give you the tools to verify the Indonesian company online, as the first step of defense against these financial predators and social scums.

The easiest and most effective step is to do a search in the Yellow Pages for the name/s of the company. The Yellow Pages is a Directory with its social responsiblity to print and publish all phone lines of companies registered with the country's Registration of Businesses and Companies.

Indonesian Yellow pages can be found when Googled with keywords "Yellow Pages Indonesia" to narrow the search. We have the Yoolk for your search of company name, street address and phone number below:

http://www.indonesia.yoolk.com

You will see a brief description of the company profile at the right top corner, if this company is not doing what you were offered, that rings an alarm bell.

Further on, if you want to verify the address, postal district codes and refine your verification, you may go for postal codes search. The Postal service of Indonesia has so graciously provided a comprehensive display of postal codes of Indonesia. Go to website at:

http://www.indonesianewsonline.com/prangko/stamps/kodepos.htm

Select the city on the list, if not found on the list, select others.

If you have any difficulty, or questions, please feel free to write your experience here in this thread, I will do my best to help you, on God's will.

LokManav,

Thank you for your appreciation, it makes my boss' day.

It goes to show that with a little bit of help, everyone can trade in a safer environment. You are a responsible buyer, and I wish everyone who wants to buy something on line, either here or elsewhere ought to apply his/her prudence and diligence to check up the supplier.

By this little act, you can save lots of heartaches, money that is hard to earn, time spent and credibility with your customers.

Are you talking about yourself Alb?

Yourself has been terminated, removed, as your site is no longer accessible. It is one thing to be a scammer, another to be a MOLE and even worst to be a treacherous person, pretending to be a helper, and then stab them in the back. This phrase in Chinese is called "Laughing Tiger", the Cantonese call it: "Acting as a Pig to eat the Tiger."

Imagine the amount of skills needed, the level of living dual, or even triple life style, or character role, can be a script writer for pays and win the awards for best script writing for a movie. Playing the roles of:
  1. Dr. Evil and Austin Powers
  2. Get Smart and agent 99
  3. Joker and Batman
  4. DR. Octopus and Spiderman
  5. Uncle Scrooge and Donald Duck

The new format is now more transparent, thank Alibaba technical crew for this structure. Yesterday, our Prime Minister, H.L. Lee visited Jack Ma in Alibaba Headquarters. There is some common ground between these two people, and the CEO spoke over the CNA interview: Overseas Trust Pass Members consist of about 5% of the paid membership in Alibaba, and they are visualizing an increase to 30%. How are they going to do it? One of the strategies, we saw apparently is to convert all Trust Pass Members into Gold Supplier members.

We are given the privilege to be Gold Member in the next month.... thanks to Alibaba.

Hi all...

after reading few reply from this post, i have found that a lot of people had a bad experience with indonesian buyer or seller.
i cant say that it's wrong..

means.. yes, it's true, SOME of the indonesian buyer/seller in alibaba might be FAKE.

I am very disappointed with this fact. and also cant do anything much to deny this fact.

I am Indonesian, I am new to alibaba, About to start my international trading business with a REGISTERED company profile.

and i found out that the website http://indonesia.yoolk.com is not accurate.

why?

because i have a registered company, with a valid document, proved by the government.

but when i search my company name on it, it says that my company doesnt exist.

i thought this website is from the government who listed out all the registered company in indonesia.

and further more, this website has a word    "Join Us"

what is that mean?? it looks like it just a normal website, where seller can put their information there.

unfortunately, this post is quite long, i cant read all replies..
so if anyone has another website that can prove that a company exist or not..
please let me know, because i would like to try and know, whether that website is accurate or not.

otherwise it would be a disadvantage for me or other indonesian registered company.
which actually their company is valid, but not listed out as a valid company is certain website..

all the best for all
Peace & Thanks
